The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit firmly denied former President Donald Trump’s request on Wednesday to halt the removal of his name from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The panel in its ruling said the request is unlikely to succeed while his appeal proceeds.
The decision indicates the Kennedy Center will keep Trump’s name off its building at present. Previous decisions still dismissed Trump’s effort to have the name restored. The case continues to be pending in the appeals process.
