Another recall targets over 47,000 cars for a fault that has remained unclear and poses a risk.
In Canada, Hyundai warned owners not to use the middle rear seat is prohibited on certain models.
Hyundai and Kia also withdrew 14 electric vehicles as a safety precaution.
These cars might burn if left parked outside when exposed to sun due to a battery issue.
