Residents in the Ottawa area heard deafening explosions late Thursday night.
The blasts were traced from leftover Canada Day fireworks.
Leftover fireworks from July 1 exploded close to Lemieux Island.
Officials affirmed the incident.
Another blast occurred at Bluesfest’s first night.
Stray shells exploded there as well.
No one was injured and no damage to property was reported.
